Reformed Baptist Church History
- Our fellowship originated when in 1998 several local families requested that the Reformed Baptist Church of Louisville, Kentucky, help them begin a church in Nashville committed to historic Christianity and, in particular, historic Reformed and Baptistic principles.
We began to worship together as a fellowship on August 2nd, 1998. At that our home church in Louisville was sending men to Nashville weekly to lead worship and to preach the Word of God. In June of 1999 Stephen Gambill was sent as a full-time church planter to be on site and see if God was indeed raising up a biblical church.
The fellowship constituted as a church on Saturday, April 22nd, 2000 with 17 foundational members.
