Leadership

Stephen Gambill, Pastor

Stephen grew up in Southern Indiana with music as his greatest interest, first serving in the Army band and then on the road as a drummer in a rock band.  His idolatrous attachment to this lifestyle eventually led to a divorce from his wife Kimberly.  His life continued to go into a downward spiral until the Lord, in His mercy, called Stephen by the Gospel in December of 1990.  Eventually the Lord would also save Kimberly and they would remarry.  He attended Trinity Ministerial Academy in NJ and became involved with a Reformed Baptist church planting work in Nashville.  He was recognized as the founding pastor in the Spring of 2000.  Stephen and Kimberly now have two children, Hannah and Joshua.

Ben Scott, Pastor

Ben and his family of a wife and three daughters have been a part of this church since its inception in 1998.  Ben has been a steady and faithful man with a great thankfulness for establishing a church with our distinctives.  He and his wife Laura had prayed for many years for such a church, and are continually amazed at God's goodness for answering their prayers.  The Scotts have three daughters who bring great delight to our congregation.

Ben was originally recognized as a deacon, and after serving faithfully in this capacity, was recognized as an elder in the summer of 2003.

Randy Graves, Deacon

Randy, and his wife Teresa, came at a very critical time in the history of the church.  There had been some discouragements in the hearts of some for the things which marked us out as a Reformed Baptist congregation, and the Graves came with great commitment and enthusiasm for what they were seeing and being taught.  It is this same love for the truth of God's Word that is an encouragement to others who have counted the cost for the sacrifices often associated with a church planting work.

Eric Graves, Deacon

Eric is the most recently added into our leadership.  He arrived at the church with his parents as a young, single, and zealous man.  He eventually became one of the founding members, and ardently committed to the body.  We have watched Eric grow in the Lord and his graces have been evident to all the body.  He met Lydia at the church, subsequently married, and now have two children.

Ben Ward, Deacon

Ben and Lisa began occasionally visiting the church when they would visit the Nashville area, and became more and more endeared to the body. Eventually they would relocate closer to Nashville, which would enable them to become a regular part of the church. They and their three children have been a wonderful encouragement to the church and dearly beloved of the brethren.
