OUR HISTORY

Originally "Reformed Baptist Church of Nashville," we had our first official Sunday worship service on August 2, 1998. Four original families had reached out to RBC Louisville to ask assistance in planting a church in the greater Nashville area. In response, RBCL began sending down men each Sunday to preach and teach to the group and spend the weekend in fellowship with them.

In the summer of 1999 Stephen and Kimberly Gambill moved to Nashville for him to become an onsite church planter. While experiencing a rough start, in the winter of 1999 the Lord sent some families that were a real boon to the work, and as a result RBC officially constituted April of 2000.

The early years included meeting in hotel conference rooms, a medical office building, and a house in Brentwood renovated for church use. Around 2006 the church began to meet in Madison at what was previously the Nashville Memorial Hospital, now known as Due West Towers, and were there for 12 years. In 2018 we moved to the campus of Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy in Whites Creek which is our current  location.

In 2017 Tyler Krug was brought on staff as Ministry Coordiator and in July of 2019 he was confirmed in the role of Elder. Currently Tyler is our primary teaching Elder and Ben Scott also serves as an Elder.

There have been challenges and blessings, and yet always the presence of the Lord among us as His people.
